It Is His Will
A man came to Jesus with a deadly disease.
It surely would have taken his life.
But he said to the Lord, “If thou will, I’ll be clean.”
Jesus said, “I will; be thou clean.”
It is His will, it is His will
It is His will that you should be healed.
It is His will, it is His will
It is His will that you be made whole.
A woman came to Jesus, her daughter possessed.
She begged Him, please set my daughter free.
Jesus said, “This children’s bread; it’s not for you.
But by faith, your daughter is free.”
Jairus came to Jesus, his daughter near death.
He said, “Lord, come touch her, she will live.”
Jesus said, “Do not fear; only believe.
And your daughter will rise from her sleep.”
A beautiful account of healing found in Luke chapter five reveals an eternal truth concerning God’s will in the area of physical healing. In that story, a leper approached Jesus and said to Him, “Lord, if You will, You can make me whole.” Clearly, the leper understood that Jesus had the power to heal him. He wasn’t sure, however, if Jesus wanted to heal him. Jesus answered the leper’s question and forever clarified God’s will concerning healing when He said, “I will, be thou clean.” What does God say, then, to our question, “Father, is it Your will to heal me?” He speaks the same words that Jesus spoke to the leper. He says, “It is My will to heal you. Be thou healed.” You must establish once and for all in your own heart and mind that it is God’s will to heal you. He has promised and He has provided all you need to be healed and whole: spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
